The Friday Night Headliner Concerts are the signature Series of the Festival, with average crowds ranging from 750 to 1,500 people per night.  Music lovers of all ages flock to Henry Law Park with picnic blankets, lawn chairs, friends and family to enjoy music in a setting that truly epitomizes the charm and sense of community found only in New England cities as vibrant and historic as Dover.  On the banks of the winding Cochecho River, and surrounded by 18th and 19th century mill structures of brick and granite, Henry Law Park boasts a gently rolling lawn, gigantic shade trees, pristine manicured gardens and walkways, and the beloved Rotary Arts Pavilion.

The talented singer is known for her sunshine story pop music, think Jason Mraz meets Florence & the Machine. The blend of a 20-year-old’s sunny disposition with the wisdom of an old soul can be found in the folky pop-country musical creations of singer-songwriter Olivia Frances, Cincinnati native and winner of Best Pop Song of 2014 at the Ohio Music Awards. Olivia spent her gap year between high school and college in Nashville honing her distinctive sound by co-writing with notable songwriters such as Billy Lee (“The One” by Gary Allan), receiving attention from heavy-hitting music publishers such as Warner/Chappell Music. Olivia currently lives outside Boston and performs regularly on the East Coast to promote her newest album, Evergreen, which serves as a follow-up to her 2013 debut album Back to Happiness.

Sponsored by Rotary Club of Dover
Mellow Yellow pays tribute to the 60’s and 70’s with truly authentic renditions of some of the genre’s greatest songs. While other tribute bands just play the music, Mellow Yellow goes the extra mile to capture all the hey-man-peace-and-love-grooviness of the songs that helped define a decade. With fanatic attention to detail, the members of Mellow Yellow do all they can to get inside the songs they perform. This attention to the essence of the music – as well as dazzling arrangements, outrageous costumes and groovy video visuals – results in not just a show, but a full-on, far-out experience of an era gone by. So c’mon down for a trip back in time! Those days may be over, but thanks to Mellow Yellow, the music — and the spirit — live on.

Opener: Zach Benton at 6:00 PM
