There is nothing better than a warm summer day at the Seacoast Growers Association Farmers’ Market with a live acoustic music performance on site    Located at the Greater Dover Chamber of Commerce (550 Central Avenue), the Farmers Market will offer 15 to 20 local vendors weekly and of course, great live music!

Taylor Marie

Taylor is a country folk artist that has a love for music and performing in front of audiences in the local area. She can play six different instruments including voice, guitar, piano, ukulele, banjo, and mandolin. She was also accepted into Berklee College of Music in 2015 for a major in Music Therapy with a minor in Performance. She has performed in gigs, and open mics at The Falls in Dover, NH and Cafe Nostimo in Portsmouth, NH including multiple school talent shows and open mics.

Penn Johnson is weaving consciousness through storytelling. Inspired by storytellers and vagabonds like Nahko Bear and Todd Snider, his spoken word music and raw authentic energy encourage audiences to release their spirits through movement. A free spirit, he spreads the music flowing through him forever indebted to those who inspire and guide. Whilst living in Austin, Texas Penn linked up with Jude Kincer, Trevor Steadman, and Vi Pocket and they became The Lost Tribe. Searching for couches, campfires, and spreading their medicinal musical energy, the Tribe is always on the move so catch them before they disappear.

North River Band

North River Band performs as a trio and four piece acoustic group as well as a six piece band with the addition of a drummer and keyboard player, all from the Portsmouth New Hampshire area. The band has a classic three-part harmony sound that we bring to the current and vintage pop and folk songs we cover. The vocals are backed by guitar, bass and additionally keys and percussion. North River Band’s music is perfect for venues wanting live background entertainment for receptions, dining and private parties. They play at a wide range of venues from outdoor festivals like the Stratham Fair and Newburyport Yankee Homecoming to smaller indoor settings at local theaters and at house parties.

Will Hatch

During live performances Hatch alternates between guitar and banjo, plays the drums with his feet, and sings. Hatch explores a range of toe tapping blues, country, rock ‘n roll, and rhythm & blues. His sets feature known covers with originals mixed in. Hatch will take you on a musical journey spanning the pre-war mountains of Appalachia, the plantations of the Mississippi Delta, and Chess Records in the 1950s.  In quieter settings, Hatch ditches the drums and performs intimate material that highlights his baritone voice and fingerstyle picking.

Jim Lord

Jim Lord is an American folk/rock singer/songwriter and musician. He has toured nationally and internationally,  sharing the bill with such artists as Bert Jansch, Tim Hardin and Elvis Costello, Richie Havens, The Rowan Brothers, Sonny Terry & Brownie McGhee, Sam & Dave, Vassar Clements, Albert King and Brewer & Shipley, among others.

Dan Walker
Wednesday, August 16th, 3:30pm
Singer/Songwriter Dan Walker blends blue-eyed soul with southern roots music to create a sound all his own that has provided opportunities to support national acts such as Martin Sexton, Livingston Taylor, Merle Haggard, Roseanne Cash and many more. Over his 10 year career as a full-time musician, he has written and produced hundreds of songs and instrumentals. Most recently, Dan’s music has been on TV shows from CBS, NBC and Discovery Channels. Many internet radio stations are now playing his songs all over the world and he continues to perform live at venues throughout New England!
